Clouds is probably a term too used in recent years. Many companies offer their clouds services: document sharing, music streaming, computing on demand, etc.
All application services that are hosted into a remote computers network accessible over internet can be potentially used as a cloud service (Cloud computing).
The web browser represents the “standard door” to use these services, but not only: more services can be used through desktop or phone applications (apps for iPad/iPhone, Android, Windows Phone). Typically a cloud service uses a virtual cpu, ram, storage, in share between more and more users: our server farm provides DEDICATED virtual servers for every user: our services are always on!
